We’ve got the perfect cocktail to drink while watching the NCAA championship, no matter who you’re rooting for: the Bourbon Peach Smash! FULL RECIPE BELOW
—–THE BOURBON PEACH SMASH—-
What you’ll need:
1 ½ oz Bourbon
1 Peach Slice
2 tsp Sugar
3 Lemon Slices
2 Sprigs of Mint
How to Mix it:
Before you cut your lemon wedges, it’s a good idea to roll the lemon around on hard surface, applying just a bit of pressure. That makes it easier to muddle.
Then, muddle the mint, peach, sugar and lemon in a shaker.
Use a down and twist motion to muddle until the juice is out of the lemon. That tells you that the oils are out the lemon skin and also out of the mint. No need to go further than that.
Add the bourbon and ice.
Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice and garnish with mint and lemon.
