    We love brunch, we love Jazz, and we love Duke Ellington. So we’re hosting a Jazz brunch in honor of Duke’s birthday on April 29th, with a cocktail straight from the jazz age: The Sidecar.
    FULL RECIPE + OUR JAZZ BRUNCH PLAYLIST BELOW

    —–THE SIDECAR—-

    What You’ll Need:
    ¾ ounces Cointreau
    ¾ ounces lemon juice
    1 ½ ounces cognac
    Sugar

    How to Mix it:
    1st, rub the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with a lemon wedge. Then, press it into a plate of sugar.

    Next, pour the Cognac*, Cointreau and lemon juice into a shaker filled with cracked ice.

    Shake well.

    Strain into your cocktail glass.

    Enjoy!

    *Cognac is a variety of Brandy produced in the region surrounding the town of Cognac in France. In addition to being produced in that specific region, it must be made according to certain standards in order to be called Cognac.
